Succesful accreditation


Accreditation of the medical training is completed

The Rector of the University of Szeged was informed by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee's president that the medical training of our university is accredited. The decision is based on the results of the accreditation process taking place in academic year 2013/2014. The accreditation of the Hungarian and English language medical trainings is valid until 31 December 2019, reinforced by a monitoring examination of clinical training circumstances until 31 December 2016.

The University of Szeged has reached a new milestone: a new precision robotic surgical device has been tested at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School, which could revolutionise the accuracy and safety of knee replacement surgery.

According to this year's national ranking of higher education institutions, the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School is the best faculty at the University of Szeged.
