Joint project of the four medical simulation centers of the Visegrad countries has been completed:

“V4 Network of Medical Simulation Centres: Building Good Practices”


The project was led by Lazarski University in Warsaw, in partnership with Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, the University of Szeged, and Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The aim of the project was to promote medical simulation training and collaboration in the V4 region, as well as to introduce the region as a valuable international partner in the growing global medical simulation industry.

At the end of the project, a joint publication titled ‘V4 Medical Simulation Centers Best Practices’ was released, which is available at the following link:

Between 28 February and 1 March 2024, a 4th generation robotic surgical system will be exhibited in the auditorium of the Ilona Banga Health Science Centre.

Our students and staff will be able to use the robotic system in 20-20 minute time frames and practice the technique using a simulator and an educational abdominal model.

The ambulance simulator at the entrance of the Clinical Skills Centre of the University of Szeged. The fully-equipped car has arrived in January, 2019. (read more; article in Hungarian) January 2019



An additional unit of the Clinical Skills Centre of University of Szeged is planned, with new opportunities and broader perspectives for health simulation skills training (read more at ‘Szeged News’; article in Hungarian).

The official opening of the brand new Simulation Center of the University of Szeged (Clinical Skills Centre). The unique place provides safe practical skills training for medical students, nurses and doctors.

The doors are now open.
