What was your first impression of the city of Szeged and the University? Was it difficult to settle down? How long did it take to feel comfortable?
Ahmad Nama (Head, Department of Emergency Medicine Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center): It was amazing and I fell in love with it from day one. The city is very comfortable and clean and there’s easy access to everywhere. It has a lively city centre, beautiful river and it is a safe place to live. I felt at home and comfortable from the very beginning. A city of sunshine, mixture of national and international people.

Colleagues, friends and students greeted the 70-year-old Professor Dr. László Dux with a public laudation. The professor, who was the head of the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Szeged for 27 years, is still actively involved in public affairs and sets an example of unbroken creative drive to his environment.

Summer school on the theoretical background and practical implementation of lasers in medicine and life sciences. EUGLOH Certificate and 4 ECTS will be provided for students participating in-person, and 2 ECTS for students following lectures online.
