About the course:
The course is a language based practice. The Hungarian Language course introduces the basic grammar and vocabulary elements of the Hungarian language. During the first three semesters (Hungarian Language I-II-III.) the students learn how to communicate in everyday situations and basic topics are covered such as personal introduction, family, leisure and free time activities, ordering food in a restaurant etc.
The fourth semester (Hungarian Language IV.) is an introduction into the basic medical terminology. The students learn the most important medical expressions in the field of human medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. They also get familiar with the essential parts of history taking in Hungarian.
The language learning process is supported by audio files and by interactive vocabulary lists using the Quizlet application as well.
The Hungarian Language course includes two 90-minute classes every week for four semesters. During the first three semesters the students complete the course with a practical grade (1-5). In the fourth semester the students conclude their basic Hungarian language studies with a final exam.
