	Clinical Module (semesters 7-10)
Compulsory subjects	116
Compulsory elective subjects*	Students are required to collect 45 credits from the compulsory elective subject category by the end of the 10th semester.
Elective subjects	Students are required to collect 18 credits from the elective subject category by the end of the 10th semester.
Criteria subjects (no credits)	Hungarian Language, Surgery Summer Practice, Doctor-Patient Communication

* This number includes 10 credits for the completion of the fifth year courses Thesis Plan I. and Thesis Plan II, the completion of which is compulsory for all the fifth year students

The University of Szeged has reached a new milestone: a new precision robotic surgical device has been tested at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School, which could revolutionise the accuracy and safety of knee replacement surgery.
