We wish to request your kind support in informing young researchers, PhD candidates, and graduate students (Master’s or Diploma) in your department or graduate school about our upcoming conference: the 5th Heidelberg Forum for Young Life Scientists (HFYLS).
HFYLS is a scientific meeting organized by PhD students from Heidelberg and Mannheim, Germany. Our aim is to bring together young life scientists from diverse backgrounds for an international two-day conference. Located at the beautiful city of Heidelberg with its long history of scientific endeavors, our meeting will foster interdisciplinary and collaborative exchange on emerging research topics.
Our next conference will be held on 8-9th June 2017 at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) Heidelberg, Germany. Leading scientists and young researchers will present their work and share their expertise in the following life-science related research areas: Microbiota, Signaling, Translational Cancer Research, and Aging. Further details about our meeting can be found at 5th Heidelberg Forum for Young Life Scientists.
We are now inviting registration and abstract submission for poster sessions and short talks on the above-mentioned subtopics. Moreover, we will award travel grants to selected graduate students who present their own research in a short talk during our conference.
Registration at: 5th Heidelberg Forum for Young Life Scientists
Application deadline for travel grants: 22nd January, 2017 (with talk abstract only)
Abstract submission will remain open until 10th April 2017. Please kindly assist us in forwarding this announcement to your students and researchers.
