Parking in Szeged


From June 6, 2017, a new parking system is introduced in Szeged.


Parking Zones:

There are two different parking zones in Szeged: Yellow and Green


Prices:


yellow zone: 220 Ft/ 60 min.


green zone: 480 Ft/ 60 min.


On workdays you have to pay for the parking from 08:00 a.m. until 18:00 p.m. , on Saturdays from 08:00 a.m until 12:00 a.m.



Payment methods:


Payment must be made in advance in case any of the following options are used.


1. Contactless payment via debit/credit card or by cash (only coins – HUF 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 EURO 0.50, 1, 2) with the help of parking machines

2. Parking pass

3. Disabled parking permit: A disabled parking permit must be displayed in the vehicle in a way that it is fully visible for easy inspection. The way it should be displayed is described on the disabled parking permit. Please pay attention to the disabled parking permit’s validity period and how the permit should be displayed.

Under Local Government Ordinance No. 25/2010 (VI.30), the parking permit for people with movement disabilities may not be presented afterwards.

4. Virtual ticket: Parking tickets may be bought by SMS, telephone or a mobile application. When you purchase a virtual ticket, some mobile service providers add a service charge to the price of the ticket.
