The old 2000 and 5000 HUF banknotes issued before 2016 were withdrawn on 31 July 2017. Only the new, upgraded banknotes can be used for cash purchases from 1 August 2017.

Orientation activities for the first-year medical, dental medicine and pharmacy students take place over several days (between August 29 and September 4). A number of activities have been designed to introduce students and their families to medical school realities and to formally induct new students into the profession of medicine, dental medicine and pharmacy.

The Application and Admission System is currently down due to technical issues. We are working on bringing it back online.
The application deadline for the German language medical program will be extended accordingly.

On March 23, 2017, our Japanese local representation HMU (Hungary Medical Universities) organized a reception in Tokyo in order to pay tribute to those Japanese candidates who graduated from Hungarian medical schools and who successfully completed the Japanese Medical Licensing Examination.

The International Cultural Evening is likely to remain one of the highlights of the cold season of 2016/2017.
